Here’s how BAUCO solves problems for contractors
As both manufacturer and distributor, BAUCO supports you from first contact to successful project completion. Our team of 70+ production and service staff thrive on challenges, and pride themselves on finding a solution for almost any problem. BAUCO offers five standard panels (the BAUCO Plus II, XL, Air, Rondo, and Softline) in up to ten standard sizes, from 6 x 6” to 30 x 72”. Purchase factory-direct for tailored solutions, the best price, the shortest lead times, and outstanding delivery logistics.
Problem #1: Unsightly access panels
Solution: Virtually invisible panels
BAUCO access panels install flush with the surface with only a narrow 1/16″ perimeter gap. They can be covered in paint, wallpaper, tile, or millwork. The drywall inlay can be ordered with BAUCO’s paint-ready option to save you time.
Colin Bellingham, Westrose Interiors, says, “They blend in with the surrounding drywall, or can be finished to suit the surroundings. It’s a nice neat finish.”
Problem #2: Awkward shapes and non-standard requirements
Solution: Fully customizable panels
Got a tricky application? We’ll customize or even redesign a panel to make it work. More than half the panels BAUCO ships are customized: a slightly odd size, extra large, extra small, L-shaped, round, multi-leaf, specialty board inlay, security hardware. The acoustic properties and functional access remain the same.
Jim Ovady, Sea-Dar Construction, says, “Some of the framing was done to odd measures like 29” or 58”. But the access panels could all be customized.”
Problem #3: Less experienced sub-trades
Solution: Easy Installation
BAUCO access panels are installed with common drywall tools and techniques. We provide installation instructions and videos, temporary frame hangers to facilitate positioning, and one-on-one advice when needed. We’ll even come to the job site for VIP customers.
Tyler Price, Stillwater Design, says, “It was a very straightforward installation. Out of the box and into the ceiling took half an hour at most.”
Problem #4: Tight deadlines
Solution: Quick turnaround
Last year BAUCO shipped more than 6,000 orders, with anywhere from 1 to 200 or more access panels per shipment. We turn quotes around in 1 business day and maintain an average production lead time of 4 days. As an experienced high-volume shipper, we offer delivery to Hawaii by courier or air freight within 3 days, and can provide sea freight solutions for larger projects.
Bridget Carbonara, All Dimension Construction, says, “I got six BAUCO Plus II access panels shipped across the continent in record time for a big project.”
Problem #5: A lot on your plate
Solution: Impeccable service
For more than 25 years, BAUCO has provided access panel solutions for projects across North America, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Last year we prepared more than 1,000 submittal drawings for our clients’ unique needs. We provide mock-up samples, catalogues, specification information, BIM objects, and CAD models as required. Over 85% of our work is repeat business – a testament to our customer satisfaction.
Peter Thomas, New England project manager, says, “You guys kick ass! I’ll never be able to order from another company after the professional experience I’ve had with BAUCO.”
