The Alberni
A luxury condominium tower located at 1550 Alberni Street in Vancouver, BC. Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, in conjunction with Vancouver’s Merrick Architecture. With its unique features, the Alberni is already being noted as one of the most recognizable and iconic buildings.
BAUCO coordinated with the mechanical subtrade to supply a sample for a mock-up room. BAUCO plus II panels were ultimately selected for all access points in exposed locations. The architectural team appreciated that the panels were of high quality and would integrate smoothly (and virtually invisibly) with other design elements.
A total of 470 BAUCO plus II panels, in sizes ranging from 12×12” up to 24×30” have been supplied. Working with the customer, BAUCO has been able to accommodate the site’s hectic schedule by staging delivery in three lots as and when required by the project team.
The Alberni is another illustration of how BAUCO’s team can deliver without manufacturing delays and supply chain issues.
